Why Make A Leased Line Comparison?
Easily find all providers
On average, there are six or more providers available to most UK businesses. It's difficult to know which fibre providers have availability at or near your business location. The AmviaSearch™ leased line comparison tool makes finding which providers can service your business easy.
Get an instant comparison
AmviaSearch™ doesn't just identify the providers that can service your business. It gets quotes from each provider too. Let AmviaSearch™ find all providers at your location and source the best price for you.
Amvia has wholesale discounts with all the major UK leased line providers. These discounts are reflected in the pricing you will receive. It is often much cheaper to buy through Amvia than directly from a telecoms network.
Get FREE installation and delivery
Using Amvia has the added benefit that when you choose the service you require, we will manage the procurement, provisioning and installation for you, free of charge. You pick the service and relax while Amvia handles the carrier installation.
What happens after I find the best leased line provider for my business?
Once you receive your side-by-side comparison, you will need to select the speed and technology that best suits your budget and requirement. If you need any assistance, such as calculating your office bandwidth requirements or picking whether to use a 100Mbps bearer or a 1Gbps bearer, impartial expert advice is on hand. There may be a voucher scheme that can reduce the cost of the service and we will check to make sure that you take advantage of any such subsidy.
Once you have chosen the provider and technology, Amvia will handle the ordering and delivery process with the carrier. You will be required to sign a service order directly with Amvia. Once this has been received, Amvia will work with the carrier to procure and deliver the fibre to your business location.
Amvia will work with the carrier to handle wayleave and any engineering appointments required to deliver your fibre leased line. Your router will be pre-configured and shipped to your office.
The process takes from 45–90+ working days from point of order to go live at your business location.
Which is better – broadband or leased line?
Leased line is better than broadband if you're looking for a dedicated connection for your business. Compared to typical broadband connection types, with a leased line you're getting a private and secure connection that's exclusive to your business. With a leased line, you also get symmetrically superfast download and upload speeds.
ADSL broadband and leased line comparison
With an ADSL broadband and leased line comparison, the main differences are that the ADSL connection type is copper-based. Copper cannot give you the powerful bandwidth speeds fibre leased lines are capable of providing. Unless you’re a small start-up business, an ADSL line will likely not be sufficient for your needs.
Uncontended, symmetrical leased lines are favoured by many businesses with significant bandwidth requirements.
The support you typically receive with ADSL broadband and leased lines is also vastly different. Most ADSL connections on the market won’t come with any swift maintenance promises. But when you sign up with a leased line provider, the contract will usually come with SLAs that include priority support and maintenance, as well as guaranteed connection speeds.
Who we work with and why you can trust our results
There are hundreds of telecoms companies in the UK, and Amvia works with most of them. When you compare using AmviaSearch™, we don't include every single telecoms provider in the UK – some telecom providers do not own their own network and some do not meet the criteria we use to deliver the best value for our customers.
We know that finding the best price is a key factor in your decision-making process. We also recognise that not all businesses have the same requirements. That's why we have experts on hand to help you find the ideal leased line service at your business location. We don't just advise on speed or price, we can also help you understand which carriers have the best availability rating, the best lead time for installation and many more important criteria.
Free impartial expert advice
When it comes to advising on a network provider for a leased line in your business, you'll get unbiased, impartial advice from Amvia. We aren't incentivised to recommend one provider over another. Furthermore, our experts can offer insights into which providers often issue excess construction charges, which providers have long and short lead times, and which providers have the best service levels.
Your details are protected
Protecting your data is critically important to us. We recognise that you don't want to be bombarded with lots of sales calls from lots of network providers. This is one of the reasons why we set up the comparison service, AmviaSearch™.
When you submit your requirement, we anonymously process your data with all relevant leased line providers available at your location. These telecoms carriers provide AmviaSearch™ with pricing data representative of your needs, at your location.
We respect your privacy
You may receive an email or a call from Amvia if we need to clarify your requirement or if there are multiple technologies available at your location. But your data is not shared with any third party and the only communication you'll ever receive will be from Amvia directly.
